ଆକ୍ଟିନିକ କେରାଟୋସିସ (ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷାରେ Actinic keratosis/ AK), ଯାହାକୁ ସୋଲାର କେରାଟୋସିସ ମଧ୍ୟ କୁହାଯାଏ, ଏହା ଏକ ପ୍ରାକ-କର୍କଟ ଚର୍ମ ରୋଗ ଯାହା ସ୍କ୍ୱାମସ ସେଲ ଚର୍ମ କର୍କଟରେ ପରିଣତ ହୋଇପାରେ କିମ୍ବା ବିନା ଚିକିତ୍ସାରେ ଭଲ ହୋଇ ଯାଇପାରେ ।[୧] ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ କିରଣ ସଂସ୍ପର୍ଶରେ ଆସୁଥିବା ଦେହର ଅଂଶରେ ଦେଖାଯାଏ ଯେପରି ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ, ବାହୁରେ ଏବଂ ହାତର ପଛପାଖରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ।[୨] ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକର ବାହ୍ୟ ଭାଗ ତୀବ୍ର ହୋଇ ଭଲ ଭାବରେ ଦେଖାଯାଏ; ନାଲି ଚର୍ମ ରଙ୍ଗ, କିମ୍ବା ପିଗମେଣ୍ଟେଡ; କଠିନ କିମ୍ବା ୱାର୍ଟି (warty); ଚିକ୍କଣ, ଚକଚକିଆ, କିମ୍ବା କାତି ଆକାରର ଫୁଲା ହୋଇପାରେ ।[୨] ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ଦାଗଗୁଡିକ ସାଧାରଣତ 0.୨ ସେମିରୁ ୧ ସେମି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆକାରରେ ଥାଏ ।[୧] ହାଇପରଟ୍ରୋଫିକ ପ୍ରକାରରେ ଶିଙ୍ଗ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇପାରେ ।[୨] ସାଧାରଣତଃ ଏଥିରେ ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଲକ୍ଷଣ ଦେଖାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ; ଏହାକୁ ରାମ୍ପିଲେ ରକ୍ତସ୍ରାବ ହୋଇପାରେ ।[୬]

ଦୀର୍ଘକାଳୀନ ଅଲଟ୍ରାଭାଇଓଲେଟ୍ (UV) ଆଲୋକ ସଂସ୍ପର୍ଶ ଯୋଗୁ ଏହା ହୁଏ ।[୪] ବିପଦପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କାରଣଗୁଡ଼ିକ ହେଉଛି ଗୋରା ଚର୍ମ, ଅଧିକ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ କିରଣ ସଂସ୍ପର୍ଶ, ଦୁର୍ବଳ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ଏବଂ ଆର୍ସେନିକ ସଂସ୍ପର୍ଶ ।[୧] [୨] ଅନ୍ତର୍ନିହିତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟବିଧିରେ ଅଲଟ୍ରାଭାୟୋଲେଟ ଆଲୋକ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଡିଏନଏ କ୍ଷତିଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହେବାରୁ ଏହା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୁଏ ।[୭] ସାଧାରଣତଃ ଏହାର ରୂପ ଉପରେ ରୋଗ ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣୟ ଆଧାରିତ ହୁଏ; ଯଦିଓ ରୋଗ ଅସ୍ପଶ୍ଟ ଥିଲେ ବାୟୋପ୍ସି କିମ୍ବା ହିଷ୍ଟୋଲୋଜିକ୍ ପରୀକ୍ଷଣ ସହିତ ଏହାକୁ ବାହାର କରିଦିଆଯାଇପାରେ | [୭] [୨] ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ସମାନ ଅବସ୍ଥା ଦେଖାଯାଉ ଥିବା ରୋଗ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଲୁପସ୍, ପେମ୍ଫିଗସ୍ ଫୋଲିଆସେଅସ୍, ତ୍ୱଚାର କ୍ଷତିକାରକ ପୁସ୍ଚୁଲାର୍ ଡର୍ମାଟୋସିସ୍ ଏବଂ ବାସାଲ୍ ସେଲ କାର୍ସିନୋମା ହୋଇପାରେ ।[୨]

ଏକାଧିକ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ।[୭] କ୍ରାୟୋଥୋଥେରାପି କଲେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୭୫% ଉପଶମ ହାର ସହିତ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ; ଅବଶ୍ୟ ଏଥିରେ ଅବାଞ୍ଛିତ ଚର୍ମ ରଙ୍ଗ ହାଲୁକା ହୋଇପାରେ ।[୩] [୮] 5-ଫ୍ଲୋରୋୟୁରୋସିଲ୍ କିମ୍ବା ଇମିକ୍ୟୁମୋଡ ଭଳି ଟପିକାଲ୍ କ୍ରିମ୍ ବଡ଼ ଆକାରର ରୋଗକୁ ଭଲ କରିଦେଇପାରେ ।[୯] [୧୦] ଚର୍ମର ଏକ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଅନେକ କ୍ଷତ ପାଇଁ ଫୋଟୋଡାଇନାମିକ୍ ଥେରାପି (PDT) ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ବିକଳ୍ପ ।[୫] ଯଦି ଏହାର ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରା ନ ଯାଏ ତେବେ ୮-୨୦% ସ୍କ୍ୱାମସ୍ ସେଲ୍ ଚର୍ମ କର୍କଟରେ ପରିଣତ ହୁଏ ।[୩] [୧୧]

ଆକ୍ଟିନିକ କେରାଟୋସିସ ଏକ ସାଧାରଣ ରୋଗ ଅଟେ ।[୫] ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ଅଧିକ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ।[୧] ବୟସ ବଢ଼ିବା ସହିତ ସେମାନେ ଅଧିକ ସାଧାରଣ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସାଧାରଣତ ୫୦ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବୟସରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୁଏ ।[୧] [୨] ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ କାରଣଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସମାନ ହେବା ସହିତ ଏହା ସାଧାରଣତଃ ବିଷୁବରେଖା ନିକଟରେ ଅଧିକ ଦେଖାଯାଏ ।[୧୨] ଏହି ଅବସ୍ଥା ୧୮୯୬ ମସିହାରେ ୱିଲିୟମ୍ ଡୁବ୍ରେଉଏଲ୍ ଏହି ରୋଗର ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିଥିଲେ ।[୧୩] ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ନାମ ପିଙ୍କସ୍ (Pinkus) ଦ୍ୱାରା ୧୯୫୮ ମସିହାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି ।[୧୨]
